Maths for early years
Maths addition cards with counting teddies - continuous provision cards
Maths continuous provision cards in pdf format.
Maths subtraction under 10 cards with coloured teddies and sentences to complete. If laminated, you can write answers with white board pens and rubbed off. You can also use counters or other maths manipulatives to work out answers.
These can be printed off, cut and laminated for use on tuff trays / tuff spots or maths areas in EYFS settings. I laminate these and store them in 6 x 4" photo boxes with the front label stuck on the box.

Mastering number - subitising slides - EYFS
A powerpoint with some quick fire subitising slides with 3 or not 3 slides.
Can be used together or separately.
I have used these alongside the NCETM mastering number activities.
Mastering number one more than slides
Powerpoint with colour coded number blocks to show the progression of adding ‘one more’ beginning at 1. Also added stem sentences for each number sentence and a number sentence.
Animated transitions so each slide shows blocks appearing one at a time.
Used with Mastering number and also number blocks planning.

A fun maths activity to practise number recognition, counting to 20, ordering numbers to 20 and writing numbers.
I introduced this in a live lesson with my Reception children and they really enjoyed doing it.
